    A.M.S. Winders come in several variations to meet all of your winding needs. From small, single shaft torque winders to 4 post winders, we have catered to many different winding needs. Our winders feature AC Vector Motors coupled with gearboxes which directly drive your spools. There are no chains or gears, maintenance is reduced. We offer several different traverse assemblies with varying degrees of precision and load ratings.
    Our Winders are built tough. In one instance, an AMS Winder was purchased and sized for spools with a finished product weight of 30 lbs. The same winder was updated to wind finished spools which weighed OVER 200 lbs! This was done in 1 day with a simple motor and controls upgrade. Mechanically, the machine was unchanged.
    In another instance, AMS Winding Systems have been designed for speeds up to 400 FPM. The same Winders were later upgraded to be used at over 550 FPM!
    AMS Winding Systems also offer options which feature online or offline capability, selected at the turn of a switch. Our winding systems can also be integrated with the AMS Accumulator System for specialty applications.
